Indoor Air Quality

Air Volume Control

It is essential to control the volume of air entering or leaving the building or a room in order to create a comfortable zone. Airmaster has methodically designed such products that can handle minimal to large volume of air with sizes from 10cm x 10cm to 800cm x 300cm . Volume control dampers that can handle larger quantities of air are usually installed in the ducting system or the point where air enters into the building. Opposed blade dampers can be installed on air supply terminal devices to control the primary air entering a room, smaller corridors and passageways. Air master volume control dampers are tested for its air performance and low leakage levels by ETL, U.S.A.

Fire Solution

 A very crucial feature any building is the safety and security of its occupants. Air master Fire damper closes in the event of a fire, thereby preventing the spread of fire through the ductwork and into the other rooms, thereby creating a delay until the occupants exit the building safely. Air master fire dampers are UL classified for 1 and ½ hour fire rating.

Fire doors also serve a similar purpose by creating a barrier in the event of a fire to allow safe exit of the building occupants. Air master fire doors and frames are UL classified for 2 hour fire rating.

Noise Control and reduction

A quiet atmosphere is a comfortable atmosphere. Airmaster manufactured specialized sound attenuators that are uniquely designed and manufactured by considering the area served, the incident noise levels generated by the air handling units, pressure drop, duct drawings etc. Silencer selections are made on the above criteria in order to perform as required to create a comfortable zone. Silencers are used in conjunction with central a/c systems in areas where it is imminent to bar the noise generated by various sources such as generators, air handling equipments, duct branches and corners, machinery, or just the outside noise. Classrooms, conference halls, meeting rooms, specialty hospitals, ICUs, etc are some of the places where sound attenuators are generally used.

Air Transfer and Exhaust

For spaces like passageways, corridors, toilets, office rooms, transfer of air from one area or compartment to the other is very essential to maintain indoor air quality for its occupants’ comfort and health. Airmaster has a wide range of products that can be used for air transfer with vision proof blades. There are also a wide range of products used for exhaust purposes for small, medium and large spaces. Air extracted out of rooms or spaces can also be controlled using opposed blade dampers.

Large spaces

Air supply to large spaces such as atriums, auditoriums, cinema theatres, and conference, exhibition and lecture halls can be quite challenging. It must be ensured that air enters into the space at the right velocity and also reaches the level of the occupants without creating discomfort. Airmaster has uniquely designed such products keeping in mind the maximum and minimum heights and architecture of large rooms. Both jet diffusers and drum louvers have the capacity to handle large volumes of air at high velocity and can be used for large spaces. Another option that can be considered for larger rooms is floor grilles if the building structure allows; In this case supply air can be at low velocity to encompass the occupancy zone.

Narrow passages

Narrow passages of hallways and corridors require products that supply air in smaller quantities and must be evenly spaced for the comfort of the visitors. Air master products such as bar grilles, slot diffusers, 4-way diffusers are suitable for this.

Ducting

No matter what the volume of ducting is present in a building, all ducting equipments and parts require maintenance. To enable easy access into the ducting zone, air master manufactures access doors only for ducts. These access doors can be easily opened at the time of maintenance and replaced back easily. These access doors are insulated to protect the ductwork and prevent heat loss.

To distribute air into a space through linear items, air master manufactured plenum boxes with top or side spigot for flexible duct connection.
